Mt. Lego Fire Company Special Units
232 Rescue 3 is a 1995 Titan 4x4 crash rescue truck. The rig is first out to any aircraft related call on the airport grounds and throughout the coverage area. Rescue 463 runs out of Station 4 (Airport). This unit is also available for regional responses.
Gator 46 is a 2009 John Deere Gator. This unit was bought in late 2009 after a incident occurred on a hard to reach road in Mt. Lego and crews had difficulties reaching the patient. This unit has capabilities to carry two EMT/EMT-P's, two patients and a driver. Gator 46 is stored at Station 2. This unit is available for regional response.
Brush, UTV 461 & UTV 462
Brush 46 is a 2009 Ford F-350 XLT Super-Duty that is equipped with a 300 gallon water tank and a 500 GPM pump. Brush 46 hauls two Suzuki Vinson 500 UTV's (UTV 461 & UTV 462) on a custom utility trailer. This unit was bought along with Gator 46. UTV 461 and UTV 462 are stored at Station 2.
Marine 461 is a small 14" inflatable rescue boat that can carry a maximum of 4 personnel. Brush 46 is the primary unit to tow Boat 461. Boat 461 is stored at Station 2. This unit is available for regional response.
SWSAR 46 & Boat 462 (Swift Water Search & Rescue)
SWSAR 46 is a 2011 Ford F-350/MedTech. This unit was bought from Porterbrick EMS soon before they were closed. It was bought to store all of Station 46's SWSAR equipment. SWSAR 46 also tows a custom box trailer that also carries SWSAR gear including a 14' inflatable boat attached to the roof (Boat 462). Boat 462 is stored at Station 1. This unit is available for regional response.
TRT 46 (Trench Rescue Trailer)
TRT 46 is a custom box trailer that holds all of Mt. Lego's technical rescue equipment. This equipment varies from small carabiners, rescue ropes to basic rigging equipment. TRT 46 is stored at Station 1. This unit is available for regional response.
Collapse 46 is a 2009 Kenworth 18 wheeler. This unit carries all of Station 46's confined space equipment, several different sizes of plywood, air shores, SCBA's, saws, generators, and a variety of hand tools. This unit is available for regional response.
